Do you offer additional touch up services?
With the workload involved, we do not complete detailed editing to school photos uploaded on our system prior to purchase. This is one of the reasons our prices are so much lower than our competitors.
Instead. we offer a free touch up service for printed photos on request.
If there is something specific you would like corrected then please leave a note or send an email quoting your order number to make your request known, the team will then ensure your photos are edited prior to printing.
Examples of common detailed edits we complete are: Marks and spillages on clothing, blemishes (such as bruises, cuts & scrapes), untucked shirts and background adjustments
Our free touch up service is at the descretion of our team and although we do our best to make minor corrections we will not be able to make any further changes once the photographs have been printed. It is important you send us a message with your request as soon as your order is placed
I haven't recieved digital proof cards for all of my children. What happened?
Some of our schools provide us with a database of parents contact details to enable us to send digital proof cards instead of the traditional printed proof card which are handed out by the school.
Sometimes a child's assigned QR code will need to be reset so they are may no longer be linked to your details, we'll simply ask you to send us a photo of your child and we'll manually find their access code and link it to your account.
If you have not recieved an email from us with details of how to order your childs photographs, then do check in with your child's class teacher or school office who will hold a copy of your code.
Why does one of my children have more photos than the other and why are they posed differently?
We arent restrictive on how many photographs are uploaded for each child so the amount of images will vary depending on how interactive your child was on the day. We aim for a minimum of 4 images per child but if your child wants to post and is happy to take more photos there could be a lot more photos to choose from, we've seen some children with up to 20 photo options so please encourage your child to pose and smile for the camera.
You may notice a few images within the gallery that have a different coloured or darker background, this is due to the rear flash not firing. If we feel the image looks good we will include these images as an additional option, as some parents prefer a darker background.
Is it possible to place a single order for multiple siblings?
If they go to the same school then yes! Click on "Did you get another access code?" under the main menu "Login".
You can enter up to five access codes at the same time. This way you will have access to all available photos. You can combine the order to save time and save on shipping costs. Should you wish to purchase from multiple codes, our Legacy package (available in Mounted & Unmounted) allows you to select images from different access codes.
Do you offer discounts?
We believe we are already a very affordable school photographer and we have priced our packages to be great value, we do not offer any additional discounts because our packages are already great value. Incase you were not aware, we visit schools and take photos for free, our only income is from the sale of the photos and we also donate a % of our profits back schools in ways that directly impact the children such as new resources, supplies, uniforms, spirts kit, outdoor equipment etc. Our aim is to bring professional photography into every household in a fun and affordable way while also benefitting the schools that we work with.
What is the difference between mounted and unmounted prints
Unmounted prints are a popular option for families who wish to frame photographs themselves.
Mounted prints come in a black mount with silver trim with a pop out stand on the back, your photos can be easily removed from the mount if you choose to frame them at a later date.
We have chosen to offer both options to our families to reduce waste for those who plan to buy their own frames.
Why does the style of photograph differ from previous years?
We aim for consistancy across photographs that we take but equally we are not your traditional boring school photographers.
Luke is an award winning portrait photographer and trains his team to a higher standard than most school photographers.
We may change the lighting to make the photo flattering to different faces and body types and have a large range of backgrounds available (we allow our schools to choose which colours they prefer)
Typically a grey or dark background is the preferred choice by parents as it is modern and versatile but we also offer many others such as blue, pink, purple, white, black and neutral options so the colours may change depending on what the school wants each year.
How long will the delivery take?
Initially we only offer the free delivery option where you photos will be delivered to the school, check above for the latest delivery updates. The Cut Off date will be 3 days before the dates listed above to allow us to print and process your order before delivery to school on the dates listed above. After the free deliver to school dates have passed you will be able to order with direct shipping to your home address at a cost of £4.50 per order, these orders will be sent 7-10 working days after you have completed your order.
Is the logo (watermark) going to be removed from the image?
Of course! The watermark is only used to protect our work against unauthorised screenshots/downloads but all paid for images will have the watermark removed.
Can I crop/edit the images?
Our system will now allow parents to adjust crops during the order process. (If we have made a mistake and left an edge of our set up on show, do crop this out)
Parents shoudl be mindful that photos are automatically cropped by the ordering system so we are not responsible if they do not fit within mounts easily.
How can I pay for my order?
Payments are all made online at the time of your order using the secure Stripe payment system.
We use the online system to improve efficiency and are unable to accept cash/cheques.
We do allow parents from any school to visit our studio for photos, this is very popular with parents who have siblings in multiple schools or for children who were not in school during the photo day. We can accept cash or in person card payments at our studio.
